Unwanted Medication Box

Unwanted medications can be disposed of at the Decatur PD. The disposal box is located along the front sidewalk near the south end of the building. Please follow these simple instructions when depositing unwanted medications into the box.

  1. We will only accept pills.
  2. Open your pill containers and dump the contents into the pill chute.
  3. No packaging, bottles, or containers will be accepted.
    1. You will be responsible for discarding your containers, bottles, or packaging
  4. No liquids of any kind.
  5. NO SYRINGES.
